Kathmandu. Media personality and world-renowned music video director Rajendra Luitel (Raj) has won the Best Music Video Director award of the year at a grand ceremony held in Nepal.
World-renowned director & Guinness World Record Holder Rajendra Luitel was presented with the award for the music video of the song Maya Marau at a grand ceremony held at the Nepal Tourism Board at Bhrikuti Mandap in the capital. At the grand ceremony of the 9th National Capital Awards, he received the award from former Chief Minister of Bagmati Province and member of the House of Representatives Rajendra Pandey, former Minister of Bagmati Province and state MP Dipendra Shrestha, and senior artist Shivahari Nepal Bairagi.
Rajendra Luitel who managed to make his name in the Guinness Book of World Records by producing the highest music video, was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award in Mumbai, India, a few months ago. Indian news media reported that he was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in recognition of his contribution to the expansion and development of Nepal-India diplomatic relations through journalism for nearly two decades, as he worked in various media outlets.
Rajendra Luitel , who recently won the Best Video Director award for the video of the same song at the ‘Genius Music Awards’ held in Nepal and the ‘Himalayan International Awards’ held in Thailand, is also busy with video production recently.
Rajendra Luitel, who is associated with the media through print journalism, is currently the head of Rashtrakhabar.com, Rastrakhabar Patrika and Pageant Nepal. Rajendra Luitel, who is also the Vice President of the Event Management Association Nepal, has been honored many times by world-renowned organizations including Guinness World Records, America World Records of Books, European World Records, British World Records of Books, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Service Award in India, International Youth Icon Award India, Mahatma Gandhi International Award India, International Peace Award, India, Indo Nepal Journalism Award, and many more.
He is the Managing Director of Fair Express Magazine and is known as a successful Event manager in Nepal.
